‘Munich is simply a great city, and living right in the heart of it makes all the difference. After class, we just head out into the city. Beer gardens, the English Garden, film studios. My German has really taken off.’

“I had a fantastic time in Munich. My written and spoken German improved significantly after the course. I also made some great friends from many different countries. I can highly recommend this course!!”
Frequently Asked Questions – Munich Mitte
What parents ask us
My child is a complete beginner – can they still take part?
Unfortunately not – the Munich Mitte Camp starts at level A1.2. For complete beginners (A1.1), we recommend our programmes in Berlin, Heidelberg or Vienna. We’d be happy to advise you on which programme is best suited to you.
What is the difference between 20 and 24 teaching hours per week?
A lesson lasts 45 minutes. With 20 lessons per week, your child will study for around 3.5 hours a day. With 24 lessons per week, this amounts to around 4 hours a day – ideal for making faster progress. The leisure programme is the same for both options.
Is it possible to book for just one week?
The minimum duration for the Munich City Centre programme is 2 weeks. The maximum is 9 weeks – making it the most flexible and longest summer programme of all our locations.
Can we book just the day camp?
Yes, a day camp with an intensive course and leisure activities is available, although places are very limited. Please contact us and let us know exactly when your child would be able to attend. We will then check whether a course without accommodation is still available.
How does my child get to Munich?
Munich Airport (MUC) is easily accessible. Transfer service available on request: 90 €one way (09:00–18:00), night surcharge 75 €. For unaccompanied minors (UM): +50 €.
What is the deposit?
A refundable deposit of 50 € is required – this will be refunded in full at the end of your stay, provided no damage has been caused.
What happens if we have to cancel?
Our cancellation policy is fair and transparent.
Up to four weeks before the course starts, the cancellation fee is 50 €.
Further details can be found in our Terms and Conditions. We’d be happy to explain them to you during a consultation.
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes – if you’re registering several siblings at the same time, please ask about our sibling discount when you make your enquiry.
