Questions about summer courses and summer camps for children and teenagers

What are the age limits for the summer camp?

The age limits vary depending on the summer camp. As a rule, summer camps accept children and young people between the ages of 6 and 17.

How is the safety of children at summer camps ensured?

The safety of children is the top priority at summer camps. All summer camps have trained staff who look after the children and ensure their safety. There are also clear rules and regulations that help to keep the children safe.

How are children who are homesick looked after?

We know that it is not easy for some children to be away from home for the first time. Homesickness is a normal feeling that many children have. That is why our summer camp counsellors are well trained to help the children feel comfortable in their new surroundings. We do everything we can to ensure that the children make friends with their peers and have fun from the very first day. Most children are no longer homesick after 2-3 days and enjoy the summer camp to the full.

What do the children eat at the summer camp?

We want the children at the summer camp to feel completely at home. That’s why we make sure that they get a balanced diet that is both tasty and healthy. The meals themselves are based on German cuisine with influences from other international cuisines. There is always a vegetarian option.

How are conflicts between children handled at the summer camp?

We place great value on ensuring that our summer camp has a friendly and harmonious atmosphere. We know that conflicts between children are sometimes unavoidable and we have a clear plan for dealing with them. We ensure that the children learn how to resolve their differences peacefully and respectfully.
