Two course formats. Both courses include daily German lessons as well as 5 teaching units of cultural activities and electives per week. Textbooks are provided on loan for the entire duration of the course. Groups of 8–10 people (max. 12).

Beginners (A1.1): Fixed start dates – current dates in the price list or upon request.
All other levels: You can join any Monday – year-round, flexible.
💡 Flexible booking options—from one week to one year
Level A1 lasts about 4 weeks; all other levels last about 8 weeks. If you’d like to complete one or two levels, it’s best to plan for 8–16 weeks. But even a shorter stay is worthwhile—whether for a focused return to the language, a refresher course, or targeted preparation for the ÖSD certificate.

When can I start?

What is the difference between Course 20 and Course 30?
The Course 20 consists of 20 teaching units of German lessons per week (Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m.–12:15 p.m.). The Course 30 offers 6 teaching units daily from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.—ideal for those seeking rapid progress or visa applicants. Both courses also include 5 teaching units of cultural activities per week.
How long does a level last?
What exams can I take in Vienna?
The school is an official ÖSD testing center (Austrian Language Diploma in German, A1–C2), one of the most widely recognized German language exams in the world. Exam preparation can be booked directly.
Are textbooks included?
Yes—textbooks are included on loan for the entire duration of the course. Anyone who would like to purchase the books can get a 50% discount at the school office.
What is included in the cultural program?
The course fee includes 5 cultural program sessions per week: guided tours of Vienna, lectures on Austrian music, art, and history, a Viennese waltz class, sports, and parties. In addition, there are optional excursions and activities available for an extra charge. Admission fees are not included. The program changes weekly.
What accommodation options are available?
What is the peak season surcharge?
From July 5 to August 30, 2026, a high-season surcharge of €84 per week applies to the accommodation.
What happens if I have to cancel?
A deposit of €198 is due upon registration; the remaining balance is due no later than 20 days before the course begins. For cancellations made up to 4 weeks before the course begins: 10% of the total amount, with a minimum of €198. Further conditions apply to later cancellations, we’d be happy to explain them to you in person.
