Why Frankfurt am Main?

Skyline, Goethe & the River Main – Frankfurt Is Different

Frankfurt is Germany’s most international city – a global financial hub, a major trade fair destination, and at the same time the city of Goethe and the historic Römer. For teenagers, it is a combination unlike anywhere else.

Germany’s Most International City

Frankfurt is a global financial centre, a major trade fair hub, and one of Europe’s key transport gateways. More than 30% of its residents come from abroad. German truly becomes the bridge language here.

Goethe, the Römer & Sachsenhausen

History meets modern city life: Goethe House, the medieval old town with the famous Römer, and the lively Sachsenhausen district – all within walking distance or easy to reach by underground.

Main Tower – Skyline Views from 200 Metres Above

The Main Tower offers one of Germany’s most spectacular panoramic views across the skyline, the River Main and all the way to the Taunus hills. An experience teenagers truly love.

Römerberg, half-timbered houses and great vibes. Frankfurt offers far more than skyscrapers – and the summer camp shows exactly that.

What Participants Say

★★★★★

“Honestly, I imagined Frankfurt to be much smaller. But it’s huge: the skyline, the River Main, the banking district. The boat trip was my absolute highlight. And speaking German wasn’t a problem because everyone at the camp came from different countries.”

FAQ – Frankfurt

What Parents Ask Us

My child is a complete beginner – can they still participate?

The Frankfurt programme starts from level A1, but it is not suitable for complete beginners with no prior knowledge of German. If you are unsure about your child’s level, simply mention it in your enquiry and we will recommend the most suitable programme.

What is the difference between 20 and 24 lessons per week?

One lesson unit lasts 45 minutes. With 20 lessons per week, your child studies around 3.5 hours per day. With 24 lessons, the total is around 4 hours daily – ideal for faster progress. The leisure programme is identical for both options.

Is the public transport pass included?
Yes – the local public transport pass is included in the course price.
What are the accommodations like?

Your child stays in a modern school residence in a 4-bed room with a private bathroom and shower. Full board is included – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please mention any allergies during registration. A double room can be booked on request for an additional 125 € / week.

How does my child get to Frankfurt?

Frankfurt has one of Europe’s largest airports (FRA), with direct access by suburban train (S-Bahn). Airport transfer service on request: 90 € one way (09:00 am – 6:00 pm), night surcharge 75 €. For unaccompanied minors (UM): +50 €.

What are the City Tax and the deposit?

The City Tax is 14 € per week – a local Frankfurt accommodation tax that is not included in the course price. The 50 € deposit will be fully refunded at the end of the stay.

What happens if we need to cancel?

Our cancellation policy is fair and transparent.

Up to four weeks before the course starts, the cancellation fee is 50 €.

Further details can be found in our Terms & Conditions. We are also happy to explain everything during a consultation.
