School Trip to Germany or Austria: More Than Just Learning Vocabulary

Do you want to offer your students an experience that goes far beyond the classroom? A trip that broadens horizons and brings learning German to life? We support you in turning the logistical challenge of a “school trip” into a stress-free success.

🌍 Step by Step to Your Offer

To create a package that perfectly matches your budget and learning objectives, we need a few key details. In this guide, we walk you through the 10 most important points on our checklist.

1. 👥 Group size

How many students and how many accompanying teachers are taking part? This is the basis for calculating accommodation and transport.

2. 🎓 Language level & age

Are all students at the same level, or is it a mixed group? How old are the participants? This helps us choose the most suitable teaching methods.

3. 🏠 Accommodation preference

A host family for real everyday life, or a student residence for a campus vibe? The choice is yours.

4. 🎡 Leisure programme

Should we organize city tours and workshops for you (full service), or would you prefer to plan the free time independently?

Timing & Travel

5. ⏳ Length of stay

Are you planning a classic one-week stay (7 days) or an intensive 14-day program?

6. 📅 Travel dates & flexibility

When would you like to travel? Do you have fixed dates, or are you flexible? We usually schedule arrival on Sunday and departure on Saturday.

7. ➕ Extra days

Do you need extra days before or after the course to explore the city on your own? Just let us know.

8. ✈️ Transfer service

Does your group need transfers to and from the nearest airport? We’ll be happy to organize this for you.

Summer Courses & Group Dynamics

9. 🌊 Summer courses: the international mix

During the summer, we offer international youth courses in selected cities. Your students can learn together with peers from all over the world.

10. 🤝 Closed group or exchange?

Do you prefer a closed group just for your class, or would you like your students to take part in international groups? Both options are possible.

FAQ: Frequently asked questions about school trips

1. How much does a school trip to learn German cost?

The costs vary depending on the size of the group, the travel period and the chosen accommodation (e.g. host family or student residence). As we calculate each offer individually, we can tailor the programme to suit your budget. Travelling outside the peak season in summer is often cheaper.

2. How far in advance do I need to plan the group trip?

To secure the best accommodation and flight prices, we recommend booking 6 to 8 months in advance. For popular cities such as Berlin, Vienna or Munich, it is particularly important to enquire early to ensure that there are enough host families or rooms in student halls of residence available.

3. Can we have a say in the destinations and excursions?

Absolutely! We suggest highlights such as city tours or museum visits, but the final decision is yours. If you want to focus on specific educational topics, such as history in Berlin or music in Vienna, we will integrate this into your leisure programme.
