Summer courses in Munich Josefstal

The summer language camp takes place about 5 km away from the lake Schliersee and about 40 km south of Munich, in Josefstahl, a typical Bavarian village in the Alp mountains. The village is very popular with German kids & teens, who like to spend their summer holidays here. The camp has rooms for 70 participants, coming from more than 40 nations. The school is located directly on a mountain, at the height of 800 m, and offers a fantastic view on the Alps´ slopes. Students will enjoy the summer camp with facilities as fireplace, barbecue court, volleyball court, table tennis, pool table and TV room.
There will be 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week. The maximum number of students per class is 12. They can start a course at 3 different levels: beginners, elementary and intermediate. Students will follow courses with many nationalities in one class. The course participants come from Mexico, Poland, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Denmark, Russia, Norway, England, France, Italy, Greece, Portugal, the US any many other countries.

Leisure program and Excursions

In the program there are 2 activities per day in international groups: sports, games and dance.
There will also be 1 full-day and 2 half-day excursions to sights in Bavaria every week (i.e. Munich, Lake Schliersee, Castle Neuschwanstein). Furthermore, students will enjoy activities such as badminton, handicrafts, swimming, volley ball etc. You can even add extra lessons in tennis or soccer to your German course!

Monday till Friday:
German course: 09:00 – 12:30
Lunch / picnic: 12:30 – 13:30
Leisure time: 13:30 – 17:00

Wednesday: half-day excursion, i.e. to Berchtesgaden; evening: camp fire
Thursday: swimming or fun sport competition (with German kids); games evening
Friday: volley ball; evening: disco
Saturday: full-day excursion, i.e. to Munich
Sunday: departure or sports

Here we are in Josefstal enjoying a great summer in German! Children from many countries come to spend a few days learning German and sharing their cultures.
During the weekdays we go to German class and have activities in the evening, wether rain or shine! We visit Munich on weekends and we go there by train. Perfect Summer meeting new great friends

Accommodation and Arrival

Arrival: Sunday
Departure: Sunday

Rooms will be shared by 2 – 4 children. Shower and WC are in the hall. Children will get full board in the camp restaurant. Members of the school staff stay in the summer camp and take care of your child 24h. Transfer is included in the price. Children will be picked up from Munich airports and stations on Sundays between 8 am – 10 pm.
