Our German courses in Radolfzell / Ludwigshafen are aimed at all children between the ages of 11 and 14 as well as teenagers between the ages of 15 and 17 who want to learn German intensively and spend an unforgettable summer at the beautiful Lake Constance in Southern Germany.
You will learn German at one of the most beautiful and famous lakes on the border of the three countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
You will speak German from the first day with your new friends who come from all over the world to Radolfzell to learn German.
Football, dancing or multiactivities… you will have a lot of fun and spend an unforgettable summer in Radolfzell.
Language Camp in Radolfzell at Lake Constance
If you are looking for a language camp for your children in Germany, then the Lake Constance is the ideal location for kids in their summer holidays who want to combine learning German with a varied leisure program, like musical dance and hip hop moves or football.
Lake Constance (Bodensee) is an attractive holiday resort with lots of exciting things to do.
In July and August language school offers an international Summer Camp for girls and boys from 11 to 14 in ludwigshafen and from 15 to 17 years old in Radolfzell. The mornings are spent learning German and in the afternoon there are lots of activities in our adventure leisure program of sports, games and fun. Naturally there is round-the-clock supervision for our kids.
German courses for kids at Lake Constance
German courses for children 11 – 14 years
- Location: Ludwigshafen am Bodensee
- 20 lessons of 45 minutes each in the morning
- 10 hours of training/activities in the afternoon
The activity program (multiactivities, soccer or dancing) is suitable for beginners as well as for small professionals in the respective sport. After dinner, there are activities in the vicinity of the accommodation. On Saturdays we offer a full day excursion.
German courses for teenagers 15 – 17 years
- Location: Radolfzell am Bodensee
- 24 lessons of 45 minutes German in the morning
- 2 workshops per week
- 2 – 3 leisure activities in the afternoon per week
The maximum number of participants per course is 15 students.
The children and teenagers start in four different levels: Beginner with previous knowledge, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced. Placement takes place on the first day.
The focus of the lessons is on conversation and interaction. The goal is to break down language blocks and enable spontaneous speaking.
Free time and excursions
Children 11-14 years
1) Summer Dance Camp
Learning different movements to rhythmic music is a great way to improve children’s motor skills and coordination while giving them more confidence! Our international camp combines learning and dancing. All participants receive a dance outfit to take home.
2) Soccer Camp
Our soccer camp takes place on the grounds of the FC 03 Radolfzell soccer club.
Passing, dribbling, tackling and of course scoring goals: For three weeks, soccer-loving boys and girls from all over the world practice their skills with the ball under the guidance of an experienced coach. At the camp, the youngsters can learn German not only in the classroom, but also in a German-speaking environment. While playing soccer they can play an active role in a team and gain team spirit and social skills.
3) Multiactivities
We put together a varied program, e.g. slackline course, zip lining, dragon boating, raft building, Viking chess or visiting a fortress ruin. If the weather is not so good, there is a cinema afternoon or other varied indoor activities. Every afternoon of the week you can expect a different activity that will keep you busy for two to four hours!
Teenagers 15-17 years
You will meet girls and boys who are older than 15 and motivated to learn German, do sports, go on excursions and have time to do something yourself. Besides swimming, beach volleyball and inline skating, climbing or bike tours are also on the program. On Saturdays there is a full day excursion, either to Freiburg, Munich, Stuttgart or to the Europapark in Rust.
Radolfzell is located in southern Germany on the shores of Lake Constance in a beautiful vacation landscape and is only a few kilometers from the Swiss border. The lake offers many opportunities for swimming and sailing, boating and other water sports. Take a bike tour through the Black Forest or take a boat to visit the neighboring countries of Switzerland and Austria!
The school offers excellent classes at all levels. The teachers are very well prepared and motivate the students. The fact, that there is homework assigned every day and at the end of each week there is a test, is a very good way to consolidate what has been learned in the class. The meals are also well organized. The housing is very nice. The afternoon activities are carefully planned and are an opportunity to make friendships.

The participants live together with their counselors in the youth education center Ludwigshafen at Lake Constance, the perfect place for the camps.
The house has a large garden with many opportunities to play and have fun. Lake Constance is very close and the train station is also not far away. So you can easily explore the beautiful Lake Constance region.
The children sleep in rooms with several beds, separated for girls and boys. You do not need to bring bed linen. The caretakers are always there for the children and do all the activities with them. The house has its own field for soccer and volleyball. If the weather is bad, you can play table tennis or table football in the house. From the place for campfire you have a great view of Lake Constance. The children usually eat at the youth center. They get a good breakfast, a hot lunch after classes and dinner after afternoon activities. If they go on weekend trips, they get a packed lunch to take with them. The evening program is mostly in the house or in the garden.
Teenagers 15-17 years

For teenagers under 16 years of age, we strongly recommend accommodation with a host family. Here the care is more intensive than in the school residence. Accommodation in the school residence is suitable for young people who are already somewhat more independent, as there is no 24-hour supervision. Attendance is checked every evening. All new participants staying in our dormitory have a dinner together on the first evening.
The best arrival airport is Zurich, Switzerland. From there it takes 90 minutes by Swiss and German train to get to the school. Upon request, we are happy to organize a cab transfer from the airport/train station to the chosen accommodation on arrival and/or departure.
