Our German language school in Heidelberg is situated right in the centre, near several bus routes. A comfortable 1-minute walk takes you to the city centre, the Hauptstrasse and its side streets, where numerous cafes, galaries and our school are found.

The atmosphere in the school is international, friendly, open and personal. The staff speaks English, Spanish, French and, of course, German.

Heidelberg is a city in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. As of 2005, 140,000 people live within the city's area.

Heidelberg lies on the river Neckar at the point where it leaves its narrow, steep valley in the Odenwald to flow into the Rhine valley where, 20 km (12.4 miles) Northwest of Heidelberg, it joins the river Rhine at Mannheim.

Heidelbergs popularity and attractiveness depends on 3 pillars: its location, castle and university.

Situated in the valley of Neckar river, the beautiful old town with its unforgettable sights and narrow, picturesque paths, is easily accessible on foot.

The main street, brimming with life, is ideal for all sorts of shopping or casual and relaxing walk. For this reason, in this pedestrain area there are no public transport or cars allowed to disturb the unique experience.

Heidelberg also is home to one of Europe's oldest educational institutes, the Ruprecht Karls University founded in 1386, more commonly known as the University of Heidelberg.
 

Our school organises leisure time activities for the students, who attend the morning courses.

Every Tuesday, at 6p.m., a film is shown (about 2 or 3 hours).

On Thursday you have the opportunity to attend a casual conversation class organised by one of our teachers in order to help you to practise the target language. You do not have to pay any extra fees for participating in these additional activities.

In summer we organize cruises on the Neckar, walking tour through the alleys of the old town, visits to the zoo and the museum, visits to the Heidelberg castle, sport activities on the banks of the Neckar, visit to the open-air cinema, trips to some German cities like Mannheim , Stuttgart , Frankfurt, Worms , Ladenburg…

Accommodation with the school is of course optional, and a course can be booked independently. You may occupy your accommodation from the arrival day (Sunday) until noon on the last Saturday of your course. Flat and family places are limited and we recommend you to register well in advance.

We have hand picked families that are licensed to accommodate students. These families are selected on the merits of their educational background, family environment and cultural and social interests.

Family accommodation is ideal for young students away from their families, thus finding a substitute in the host family.

- Shared flat / student residence
Student Residence is ideal for those who wish to keep in contact with other students of the school. There is a possibility to share a flat. This includes a single room with no board, but use of kitchen.

The price depends on the kind of residence, its location in the city centre and the number of students living there.
