Our German courses in Hanover take place throughout the whole year with all levels from elementary to advanced. Maximum of 13 participants per course.
You can choose between the following German language courses in Hannover:
>> Course 20h 20 lessons a week
This intensive course is held from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 or from 14:00 to 18:00. It contains 4 periods of 45 minutes per day, 20 hours per week. The intensive course is for all levels ( Elementary I, Elementary II, Elementary III, Intermediate I, Intermediate II and DSH-Advances) and takes place the whole year. One term 8 week amounts to 160 lessons. With previous knowledge you can start any Monday. There are special dates for absolute beginners. Please see our pricelist.
>> Course 20+5h It is our intensive course (20 hours per week) combined with one extra hour one-to-one daily.
>> DSH – and TestDaF – Courses 20 lessons a week; duration: 2-6 weeks Required level: intermediate (at least B2)
These courses mainly aim at preparing you for the DSH exam, taken at the University of Hanover. Passing this exam provides the prerequisite for entering the University as a student. Using authentic teaching aids, productive reference works and tests we help you improve your speaking skills as well as writing competence.
All German courses can be taken at all levels, with the exception of the DSH course, which requires at least an intermediate level of German language. On the first day of class, students are required to take a level test that will enable us to assess their level and assign them to the most appropriate class. Students with no previous knowledge of the language will be automatically placed in the beginners group.
Beginners (A1) No previous knowledge of German is required. Upon completion of this level, students should be capable of communicating in numerous situations, using simple present, past and future structures relating to everyday basic needs.
Beginners 2 (A2) This level is recommended for students that already have a basic knowledge of German or for those who have studied German long ago and need a refresher course. Upon completion of this level, students should be capable of communicationg in most situations using the present, past and future indicative and imperatives.
Intermediate (B1-B2) At this level, students make significant progress. At the end of this level, students should be capable of communicating in complex situations, making use of all indicative and subjunctive tense structures. Their vocabulary will be enlarged to encompass a wide variety of topics.
Superior (C1): At this level, students correct minor imperfections, improve pronunciation and learn to use idiomatic expressions, speech connectors, etc.. Upon completing this level, students should be able to maintain a fluent conversation in German about any topic.
