The intensive and small group courses for German in Salzburg consist of a maximum of 6 participants in winter and 8 participants in summer to ensure a rapid acquisition of the foreign language.

The linguistic competence of participants is assessed on Mondays prior to the start of the course; this is done in the form of an oral and/or written assessment test. The courses themselves are scheduled from Monday to Friday and are either held in the mornings or afternoons, depending on the level of the course.

The emphasis of the lessons is intensive oral practice. Through constant goal-oriented dialogues with the other participants and the trainer, who only teaches in his mother tongue, students are guided step by step towards active command of the language, preparing to face everyday situations with all their demands.

With our video-/audio training typical situations are presented in short scenes. Through the practical application participants familiarize themselves with the newly-learned words, grammatical structures and oral comprehension. With the help of video-/audio-supported exercises participants learn to use these forms correctly.

Our German course with 20 lessons and 3 hours activity program per week is the ideal holiday course for participants interested in everyday German. (Minimum age: 16 years). The course consists of 15 lessons with teacher + 5 lessons video laboratory + 3 hours free time activity.

>> Course 20+10h
The superintensive course for German is suited for participants who wish to combine the open atmosphere in a mini group (20 lessons and 3 hours activity program per week) with the efficiency of individual lessons (10 individual lessons per week) tailored to meet the personal demands (e.g.: German for professional purposes, exam preparation, etc.). (Minimum age: 16 years).

>> Course 30h
Our German course with 30 lessons and 3 hours activity program per week offers to the participant with some prior knowledge of German relaxed learning in a mini group and, at the same time, guarantees a rapid improvement within a short time due to its high intensity. (Minimum age: 16 years; no total beginners).

>> Business German
The German course is suited for intermediate level participants and offers practically-oriented preparation for typical situations of business life. The course offers 30 lessons and 3 hours activity program per week. Typical business situations such as enquiring from theout and providing information concerning e.g., the processing of an order; customer service scenarios; and correspondence are practised in the form of role-playing. During the leisure program, participants also have the possibility of learning and practising "small talk" as well as becoming acquainted with the social rules of etiquette which are common in the German-speaking world. (Minimum age: 18 years)

 

>> DaF - Special course for German teachers (20+4h)
This combination of Course 20h in a small group with two hours of single lessons per week gives teachers of German not only the opportunity to brush up their general German skills but also to refine their specialized area of expertise (tourism, business correspondence, product development, etc.) in the form of one-on-one instruction. The free time activities offered once a week enfrom thele participants to profit from the experiences of their colleagues from other countries.

>> One-to-one - Individual classes
One-to-one training is the most efficient way to learn a foreign language, as the training program is tailored exactly to meet your demands (concise argumentation in discussions, telephoning, specialized and technical vocabulary training, etc.) as well as your own personal linguistic short-comings.
Depending on your personal schedule and availability you decide which day the course begins, which days you meet, as well as time and intensity.
You may also form a "Special Team" with a colleague or acquaintance and split the price (5 % surcharge for each additional participant).
