Since its establishment in 1995 our language school in Frankfurt has specialized in German courses for foreign students. The school is located in Bockenheim, one of Frankfurts most exciting neighbourhoods, next to the university campus.

It is a small, open school which runs German language and culture courses throughout the year. Courses are orientated towards communication and action: the main priority is effective communication and correct situational usage. Thanks to its careful programme which covers all the aspects of the German language a great number of different subjects are dealt with in an intensive manner and so maximum progress is guaranteed.

Our teachers are all jung, native German speakers. They all have a university degree and have obtained a special training on the teaching of the German language. One of our teams highlights is its teaching method. We also have English-speaker tutors who can assess our students in the event they need it.

However, is not all about money! Did you know that the university of Frankfurt was founded in 1914? It was indeed named after the citys most famous son, Goethe, Germanys worldwide-known writer. Its opera house, its theatres and museums make Frankfurt one of Germanys top cultural and scientific metropolis. In short, Frankfurt is a young, active city full of life, expecting to be discovered.

Every afternoon and weekends, the school organises activities and day trips to nearby towns. Activities include visits to museums, city sightseeings, theatres, shows…and are made together with German students, so you can practise even more! And if you want to meet new people, do not miss our famous Treffen every Wednesday at 20:30!

Interesting places in Frankfurt:

- Goethes house: natal house of the most important writer of Germany.
- Römerberg: old centre of Frankfurt.
- Römer: townhall of the city since the beginning of the 15th century.
Imperial Room: it is a room in the townhall where the German emperors and kings used to celebrate their banquets
- Imperial cathedral: seat of the coronation of ten kings
- Old gardens: Roman excavations of the 1st century
- Saint Paul: the first German free election parliament was placed here.
- The Guard: Baroque building where the prison and the quarter of the Municipal Guard were placed.
- Old opera: center for concerts, congress and special cultural activities.
- Sachsenhausen: area on the south of the Main, with typical cider bars and restaurantes.
- Commerzbank: it was built by the famous architect Sir Norman Foster in 1997. The nine gardens placed in the upper floors of the building are really special.
- Judengasse/Börneplatz: the excavations of Judengasse (Jewish alley) in Frankfurt, show the remains of a typical guetto, even with a Mikwe.

Frankfurt is considered an important cultural city due to the museums bord: it is a famous avenue with 13 museums placed on the banks of the river Main. The city has in all 40 museums. Some of the most importants are the Museum of Modern Art, the Schirn-Hall for Art and Expositions, the Städel Cultural Institut, Senckenberg, Post and the German Cinema Museum.

The school can arrange accommodation for the student, please inform us in advance. There are three types of accommodation:

- shared flats: our students favourite choice! Students have a single room and the kitchen and bathroom are shared with German students. Especially recommended for those who want to practise their knowledge!

- individual studios: for those who want to keep their privacy or are travelling with their partner

- German host families (at half board): this is the best choice for students who really want to get to know German lifestyle. The accommodation with families includes room, breakfast and lunch or dinner.

Accommodation will be available the day before the course begins from 12 a.m. until the day after the course ends until 12 a.m.

Bed linen and towels must be brought by the students.
